Ryder Cup is never easy to win on the road. Europe has done it only four times

Winning the Ryder Cup is enough of a challenge. Greater still is doing it away from home. Rory McIlroy considers it the biggest accomplishment in golf. Europe was the last road team to win a Ryder Cup and that was 13 years ago at what’s called the “Miracle at Medinah.” The Ryder Cup starts Friday at Bethpage Black.
