RAPID CITY, SD — Wild West Screen Printing and Embroidery will bring custom, on-the-spot embroidery services to the Black Hills Stock Show later this month, marking the company’s first time setting up a booth inside the Rodeo Zone.

The Rapid City-based business will operate out of the Ice Arena, known during the Stock Show as the Rodeo Zone, beginning when events open Jan. 30. The booth will feature two embroidery machines capable of personalizing jackets, vests, hoodies and hats while customers wait.

“This is our first time doing something like this,” said owner Brandon Torres. “If someone finds a jacket or vest they like at the Stock Show and wants their name or brand put on it, they can stop by our booth and we’ll do the embroidery right there.”

Wild West Screen Printing, located at 619 St. Joseph St. in downtown Rapid City, plans to focus primarily on customer-supplied items during the event, though a selection of hats will also be available for purchase and customization.

Torres said the company built a full mock booth inside its storefront to prepare for the event and hopes to expand the concept to other venues if the Stock Show proves successful.

Founded in 2023, Wild West Screen Printing produces custom apparel, banners, decals and vehicle graphics for businesses, organizations and individuals across the Black Hills. The company operates with no minimum order requirements, allowing customers to order as few as one item.

“That was always the goal — to be a one-stop shop and make custom work accessible,” Torres said. “Whether you need one shirt or a hundred, we’re here to help.”

The business is also launching its own apparel line called “Mark Out,” inspired by rodeo culture and the idea of leaving a personal mark. The brand reflects the company’s broader mission of helping customers bring their ideas to life.

Wild West Screen Printing’s booth will be located in the southwest corner of the Rodeo Zone, next to Six Thrones Barbershop.
