The weekend begins Friday afternoon with Sip N Shop at Dandelion Bouquet, starting at 4 p.m. This open-house style event invites guests to stop in at their own pace, enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and browse curated local goods. The evening also features guest vendor Saldare Permanent Jewelry, offering clasp-free, permanent pieces that make ideal Valentine’s Day or self-care gifts.

Get Hands-On with Clay at Prouty Pottery

Creative spirits can head to Prouty Pottery at 6 p.m. for the Clay Heart Dish Class. During the 1.5-hour guided session, participants will create two custom heart-shaped dishes, learning techniques and design tips along the way. The class is beginner-friendly and encourages personalization through layered textures and decorative elements.

Open Mic Night Encourages Community Expression

Friday night’s main event takes place at 8 p.m. at the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo®, where Tanner Usrey brings his gritty blend of country storytelling and rock energy to the stage. Opening the night is South Dakota favorite Kenny Feidler, known for raw songwriting and a powerful live presence.

Painting and Live Music Highlight Saturday Night

Saturday evening begins at 6 p.m. with Mittens Made With Love, a step-by-step canvas painting class at Prouty Pottery. Designed for all skill levels, the class provides all materials and guided instruction in a relaxed, social setting.

At 8 p.m., the Black Hills Stock Show continues with Ole 60, one of country music’s fastest-rising acts. Known for viral hits and genre-blending sound, the Kentucky six-piece is joined by opening artist Rob Langdon, delivering a high-energy start to the night.

Late-Night Music Across Rapid City

Live music continues at 9 p.m. with Tanner Johns performing at Murphy’s Pub & Grill, offering classic Stock Show Weekend vibes with cold drinks and crowd-friendly tunes.

Also at 9 p.m., Slamabama takes the stage in the Coke Corral Room at the DoubleTree by Hilton Rapid City Downtown Convention Center. The 21-and-over show runs until 1:30 a.m. and features high-energy country favorites, dancing, and a packed dance floor. A $25 cover applies.
