Feel Good Friday with Bottom Line at Firehouse Pizzeria

Live music kicks off Friday at Firehouse Pizzeria, where Bottom Line returns to the stage at 5 p.m. as part of Firehouse’s popular Feel Good Friday series. Featuring Mark and Greg Theissen, the longtime Black Hills musicians deliver melody-forward songs with tight harmonies and guitar-driven favorites, drawing influence from artists like Santana, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, and Jackson Browne. Wine Down Happy Hour runs from 4 to 6 p.m., offering $5 glasses of house wine ahead of the performance.

Drumming With Intention Meditation Experience

For those looking to slow things down, the Drumming With Intention Meditation Experience takes place Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Minneluzahan Senior Center. The one-hour session introduces drumming as an accessible meditation practice, designed to help participants quiet racing thoughts. No experience is required, and drums are provided. The evening continues with an Ecstatic Dance experience from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Space is limited.

Clean Comedy with Tyler Mathieson

Friday night comedy options include a clean comedy show featuring Tyler Mathieson at West River Comedy Club at 7:30 p.m. Mathieson is South Dakota’s first Certified Comedian through the Clean Comedy Collective and has performed across the Midwest and Great Plains. This 21-plus show offers a night of laughs without explicit material.

Omar Gooding and Charles Allen Return to 707 Nightlife

Also Friday, 707 Sports Bar & Nightlife hosts stand-up comedy with Omar Gooding and Charles Allen at 8 p.m., with local comedians opening the show. Gooding, known for his work across film, television, music, and comedy, brings high-energy storytelling and crowd interaction to the stage. His previous appearance at the venue sold out, and another full house is expected. General admission tickets are $25 presale and $30 at the door.

Saturday Art Adventure at the Dahl Arts Center

Saturday afternoon, families are invited to the Dahl Arts Center for Saturday Art Adventure at 1 p.m. February’s session focuses on Abstract Monoprint, encouraging creativity through playful, hands-on artmaking. The program is free to attend thanks to community donors and Friends of the Dahl memberships.

Live music continues Saturday evening at BIN 605, where Chris Huisenga performs at 6 p.m. Huisenga’s sound blends soulful blues with southern rock influences. There is no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pop-Punk Celebration and Burlesque Showcase at Aby’s

Saturday night brings two distinct events to Aby’s Rapid City. At 7 p.m., Outside Kids, Easy Light, Howling Embers, and Gold Metal headline a pop-punk celebration centered on community and connection. Admission is $15 at the door.

Later at 8 p.m., Tangled Sheets Burlesque by The Masked Marion takes over the front pub area of Aby’s. The masquerade-themed showcase features bold, intimate performances and is open to guests 21 and older. Admission is $10 at the door, with reserved seating available through sponsorships.
