PINE RIDGE, S.D. – Water service is beginning to return to residents in Pine Ridge and surrounding areas following successful repairs to a major main line and electrical systems, officials announced Thursday.
The Oglala Sioux Tribe Rural Water Supply System confirmed that crews have completed the necessary physical and electrical work required to bring the system back online. The utility provider noted that while the primary repairs are finished, the restoration of water pressure will occur gradually across the network.
