PINE RIDGE, S.D. – A water main break was reported in the downtown construction area of Pine Ridge village, affecting water service and prompting immediate response from the Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST) Water & Sewer department.
OST emergency management advised residents on Saturday that a break occurred on a main line within the village’s downtown construction zone. Crews are currently on site working to shut off the water flow and begin necessary repairs.
A timeline for the repair completion is not yet available, according to the OST emergency management report. Updates will be provided as soon as more information is known regarding the estimated time for service restoration.
