Juvenile Critically Injured in Vehicle Accident at Sturgis Brown High School
STURGIS, S.D. — Sturgis Police say several juveniles were hurt, one critically, following an accident that occurred at Sturgis Brown High School. The incident occurred in the parking lot where authorities found a turned over vehicle with multiple juveniles involved. One juvenile was trapped beneath the vehicle and was air lifted to Rapid City in critical condition. The Sunday night incident is under investigation by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
Final Week to Drop Off Tree Debris at Rapid City Remote Disposal Sites
RAPID CITY, S.D. — Officials with the Rapid City Solid Waste Division remind the public this is the final week to dispose of tree debris at the remote disposal sites set up at Fitzgerald Stadium and Nickel Street. The last full day to use the containers and drop off tree debris is scheduled for this Friday, February 13. The sites were opened for residents to manage storm debris after December’s windstorm. The deadline to drop off Christmas trees is also extended to Friday. After February 13, residents can bring tree debris to the Rapid City Landfill. The cardboard and recycling containers will be moved back to their normal locations on February 14.

FBI says it’s unaware of Savannah Guthrie talking with her mom’s suspected kidnappers
TUCSON, A.Z. (AP) — The FBI says it is not aware of ongoing communication between Savannah Guthrie’s family and suspected kidnappers. The FBI said in a statement Monday that it has not identified any suspects or persons of interest in the mysterious disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. Savannah Guthrie said the family was “at an hour of desperation” in a video released Monday. She said her family in Arizona continues to believe her mother is out there and hearing everyone’s prayers.
