George Valera hit a two-run homer in the third inning, and JosĂ© RamĂrez added a two-run double in the seventh. Tanner Bibee won his third straight start, allowing just one run in six innings. The Guardians’ starters have allowed two or fewer runs in 19 consecutive games. Detroit has lost eight straight games and is out of first place for the first time since April.
