Broncos linebackers Singleton and Greenlaw return from injuries for season opener against Titans
Alex Singleton and Dre Greenlaw are set to line up together in the middle of Denver’s defense as the Broncos open their season against the Tennessee Titans. Both linebackers are coming off major injuries from last season. Greenlaw played just two games because of a torn Achilles tendon and a calf injury. Singleton missed time with a torn ACL last season and a broken thumb this summer. Coach Sean Payton says they are being cautious with Greenlaw to ensure he stays healthy throughout the season. Payton is relieved to have Singleton back, highlighting his leadership and communication skills.
