Rams need a playoff tune-up, so their starters will roll in the finale against freefalling Cardinals

The Los Angeles Rams have secured another playoff berth and their regular-season finale can have only a small impact on their seeding. When faced with such a situation in past seasons, Los Angeles coach Sean McVay has rested every starter possible. He would preserve his players’ health for the playoff tests ahead, not caring about the result. So the fact nobody healthy is sitting out when the Rams host the Arizona Cardinals is a clear indicator of McVay’s frustration and disappointment with his team’s two-game swoon.
