Panthers’ Bryce Young could see more man-to-man defense after major flop against Seahawks
Bryce Young could face more man-to-man coverage against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday. The Seattle Seahawks used the strategy against the Panthers on Sunday and limited Young to 54 yards passing and one interception. Carolina’s top receivers struggled, combining for just 24 yards. Coach Dave Canales noted the Seahawks’ disciplined defense forced checkdowns. Despite the Panthers’ defense allowing 27 points, they held the Seahawks to just 3 points in the first half. Carolina’s running game has faltered recently and their run defense struggled against Seattle. The Panthers lost tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders for the season to broken ankle.
