‘Fragile’ Rangers are looking for answers to turn their season around

The New York Rangers are searching for answers past the midway point of a season that is rapidly slipping away. They’ve lost four in a row and seven of their past eight games since returning from the NHL’s holiday break. The absences of injured franchise goaltender Igor Shesterkin and top defenseman Adam Fox have certainly contributed to this skid. But the Rangers are running out of time to make up ground in a competitive Eastern Conference with all 16 teams separated by just 15 points in the standings.
