9 FanDuel network teams end deals, MLB prepared to produce and distribute broadcasts

Nine Major League Baseball teams have ended their deals with the FanDuel Sports Network for local broadcasts. Commissioner Rob Manfred says MLB is ready to produce and distribute the games. Main Street Sports Group, which runs FanDuel networks, missed a payment to the St. Louis Cardinals. It also carries games for other MLB, NBA, and NHL teams. Manfred assures fans will still see games, whether through Main Street, a third party, or MLB media. MLB previously took over broadcasts for several teams after missed payments. Local media provides over 20% of industry revenue.
