Kotelnicki returns to Kansas as associate head coach after stint as Penn State offensive coordinator

Andy Kotelnicki has returned to Kansas as associate head coach after not being retained as Penn State’s offensive coordinator. Jayhawks coach Lance Leipold announced the move on Friday. Kotelnicki had left Kansas for Penn State after the 2023 season. He and Leipold have worked together for 11 years at various schools. Kotelnicki expressed excitement about rejoining Kansas, where his 2022 and 2023 offenses were among the highest-scoring in school history. Leipold praised Kotelnicki’s familiarity with the staff and his successful track record. Kotelnicki’s specific duties have not been announced.
