Justin Fields to start for Jets against Dolphins after clearing concussion protocol
Justin Fields will start at quarterback for the New York Jets against the Miami Dolphins. Coach Aaron Glenn announced Saturday that Fields cleared the concussion protocol on Friday. Fields was injured in the Jets’ loss to the Bills in Week 2 and missed Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers. He experienced symptoms such as migraines and sensitivity to light. Tyrod Taylor, who started in his place, will return to his backup role. Fields had a strong debut against the Steelers but struggled against the Bills before his injury. Both the Jets and Dolphins are off to 0-3 starts heading into Monday night’s AFC East showdown.
