Jeeno Thitikul pulls away and leads Nelly Korda by 6 in LPGA finale

Jeeno Thitikul is running away with the CME Group Tour Championship and heading toward another big payoff. The Thai star made nine birdies for the second straight day on Saturday. This time it added to a 64 and a six-shot lead over Nelly Korda and Pajaree Anannarukarn going into the final day of the season finale at Tiburon Golf Club. Korda and Anannarukarn each shot 64. The winner gets $4 million. That’s the richest payoff in women’s golf. Also at stake for Thitikul is winning LPGA player of the year and the Vare Trophy for the lowest scoring average.
