Commanders stars Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin out against the Falcons with injuries
The Washington Commanders will face the Atlanta Falcons without quarterback Jayden Daniels and wide receiver Terry McLaurin. Daniels’ knee injury will keep the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year out for a second consecutive week. Backup Marcus Mariota will again get the start. Washington’s already shorthanded wide receiver room takes a big hit without McLaurin, who suffered a quad injury in the team’s 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week.
