Colts GM believes QB Anthony Richardson will still be a part of team’s future
Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard still believes Anthony Richardson will be part of the franchise’s long-term future. In fact, he still considers Richardson a potential franchise quarterback. Eight days after coach Shane Steichen announced that Daniel Jones had won the starting job for Indy’s season opener against Miami, Ballard insisted on Wednesday the franchise hasn’t turned the page on Richardson. Ballard says Richardson is still capable of realizing the potential the Colts saw when they selected him No. 4 overall in the 2023 draft.
