Tiger Woods’ son Charlie qualifies for US Junior Amateur

The 16-year-old son of Tiger Woods is heading back to the U.S. Junior Amateur. Charlie Woods bogeyed his final hole to fall into a three-way playoff for the final spot out of Eagle Trace Golf Club. He won the playoff. That means Woods will be among 264 players competing for 64 spots in the match play portion. The U.S. Junior is July 21-26 at Trinity Forest in Dallas. Tiger Woods won the U.S. Junior three straight times. Charlie Woods last year qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur. But he shot 82-80 and didn’t advance to match play.
