Panthers’ Chuba Hubbard misses second practice, status for Sunday vs. Dolphins in doubt
Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard has missed his second straight day of practice, raising doubts about his availability for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Hubbard played through a calf injury last Sunday against New England, but coach Dave Canales says he emerged from that game in worse shape. Canales is expected to address Hubbard’s status on Friday when the team releases its injury report. If Hubbard is out, Rico Dowdle is expected to start, with rookie Trevor Etienne likely seeing action. Hubbard leads the team with 217 rushing yards and two TD receptions this season.
