DeWanna Bonner returns to Phoenix: ‘The love and welcome was very much needed’

DeWanna Bonner is thrilled to be back in Phoenix. She spent the first decade of her career with the Mercury before moving to Connecticut and Indiana. Earlier this month, she signed with Phoenix again. Bonner is focused on her future with the team and not dwelling on her short time with Indiana. She moved into third place on the WNBA all-time scoring list in the season opener. Phoenix starts a five-game road trip in New York on Friday with a loss. Bonner hopes to lead the Mercury to another championship, having already won two with them.
