Bob Trumpy, an original member of the Cincinnati Bengals and a renowned broadcaster, has died at 80. The Bengals announced that Trumpy died peacefully on Sunday and was surrounded by family at home in the Cincinnati area. Trumpy played for the Bengals for 10 years and was known for his exceptional speed as a tight end. He later became a prominent NFL analyst for NBC Sports, calling games from 1978 to 1997, including two Super Bowls. Trumpy also hosted a sports talk show in Cincinnati and was recognized for his broadcasting achievements with the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award in 2014.
