Federal prosecutors say Afghan national made bomb threat on TikTok video in Texas

Authorities have charged a Texas man with making threats online after they say a video showing him threatening to build a bomb and conduct a suicide attack was posted to TikTok and other social media sites. Mohammad Dawood Alokozay is an Afghan national who lives in the Fort Worth area. He was charged in federal court on Saturday. Attorney General Pamela Bondi says he came to the U.S. during the Biden administration. The FBI was alerted about the videos on Nov. 25, and Alokozay was arrested the same day. Court records do not name a defense attorney, and Alokozay has not yet had the opportunity to enter a plea.
