STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis area Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday a very special announcement.
Ruth Kopp, Chamber Board Member and Ward 2 Council Member, has offered to pay for half of the tuition for the next person who signs up for Leadership Sturgis.

“Investing in local leadership is investing in the long-term health and resilience of a community. Programs like this that are put on by the Chamber are essential for supporting leadership that addresses community needs and fosters accountability. This program empowers leaders to grow and create solutions that strengthen and sustain our community”
The chamber on social media issued a thank you to Ruth for the partial scholarship to Leadership Sturgis.
