RAPID CITY, S.D. Steve O is bringing his new comedy tour to Rapid City on December 14 at The Monument, sharing what fans can expect during an interview with The Roadhouse Show. The longtime performer said this show took two years to build and mixes an extra naughty jackass style movie with stand up comedy.

He said the show grew from his goal to stop living in the past. Instead of telling old stories, he is creating new ones and filming stunts that would never be allowed on social media or streaming platforms. He said this tour lets him push limits without rules.

Steve O talked about the risks behind his work, including the recovery from third degree burns and the pellets he still carries in his body from earlier stunts. Even with the injuries, he said he stays healthy by staying active and believes inactivity is harder on the body than the stunts themselves.

He also spoke about his seventeen years of sobriety and how staying busy helps him keep moving forward. He said he is excited to return to South Dakota and shared that the only state he has never performed in is Delaware.

When The Roadhouse Show asked what kind of South Dakota stunt he might attempt, he shared an old idea involving an Abraham Lincoln mask and a flash stunt he once planned for Mount Rushmore during a time when he briefly planned a breast augmentation stunt. He added that the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally would have been the perfect place to show it off.

Steve O said he will have an opening act with him in December and mentioned that Preston Lacy from Jackass joins him for some shows. He told the crew he would see everyone on December 14 at The Monument, where tickets are on sale now through The Monument box office and website.

Listeners who missed the full interview can hear it on the Bounced from the Roadhouse podcast.
