MEADE COUNTY, SD — After pleading “No-Contest” last June on charges of simple assault and domestic violence, former news anchor Shad Olson has been issued a warrant following a motion by Meade County Deputy State Attorney Tanner Jackson.
The motion filed by Jackson states that Olson failed to abide by the terms of his sentence, failing to pay court fees, complete an alcohol evaluation, or provide proof of completed anger management courses. 4th Circuit Magistrate Judge Chad Callahan then authorized the warrant which compels any law enforcement in the state to arrest Olson, and to deliver him to Meade County Magistrate Court.
This warrant has not been served as of yet, according to available documentation, however a $500 bond has been issued by Callahan in order to encourage Olson’s appearance.
