RAPID CITY, S.D. – The interagency search for Jeremy Taylor continues today with a variety of resources, air assets and ground equipment.
The public is once again asked to avoid the area of Sheridan Lake and Pactola Reservoir, and law enforcement will continue to make door-to-door contact with residences impacted within the search area.
Law enforcement say Taylor is armed and dangerous, and has evaded capture since Friday, when he fled a traffic stop and nearly ran over a police officer.
Police say Taylor could be carrying an AR-15 rifle and is well-prepared for outdoor survival.
Authorities say Taylor’s safe apprehension remains the ultimate goal of the search. Negotiation teams continue work to try and make contact with Taylor, and the hope is that he can be located and taken into custody peacefully and safely.
Please report any and all suspicious activity and call 911 if jeremy Taylor is encountered.
