
BISMARCK, N.D. – The Sturgis Scooper boys wrestling team won the team title of the Mandan Lions Classic Saturday.
Sturgis crowned three champions on the day, including Tyler Baldwin at 112 pounds, Mason Hagen at 139 pounds and Ben Nadig at 152 pounds.
Sturgis also had two wrestler finish runner-up with Sully Sigman at 107 pounds and Park Graveman at 133 pounds.
Sturgis finished on top of the team points with 342. Bismarck Legacy was second with 303.5 and Pierre was third with 260.5.

Meanwhile, the Sturgis Scooper girls wrestling team dominated in their first tournament of the season, winning the Bill Young Invitational by more than 80 points. The Scoopers finished with 212.5 points, with Lakota Tech coming in second with 131 points.
Four Scoopers took first in their respective weight classes, Annalee Pierson at 115, Kaidynce Hand at 120, Brooklyn Baird at 130, and Eleanor Jacobs at 135.
