Rapid City, SD – The Idaho Steelheads win the last of this three game series against the rush 2 to 1.
The first period saw Idaho score with a breakaway by Malmquist (Pelton – Byce) at 15:18. Chyzowski’s two minute charging penalty at 14:28 gave way for the Holmes (Hoffman, Jardine) power play goal at 13:41 for Idaho.

The first period ended 2 -0 in favor of Idaho .
The Steelheads took three penalties in the second period :
15:55 Anderson – 2 minute interference
5:04 Jardine – 2 minute delay of game
1:13 Arcuri – 2 minute delay of game
Third period action saw minor penalties by Idaho (Pearson) at 13:12 and Rapid City ( Pilon) at 9:51.
A late goal by Bergmanis (Bennett, Bernard) at 4:38 was not enough to seal the win for Rapid City.
Barczewski won the game with 29 saves. Sergeev stopped 30 shots for Rapid City.

Rapid City will visit Idaho on December 17th ,19th and 20th to continue this rivalry.
The Rapid City Rush will now travel to Tahoe to play the Knight Monsters December 3rd, 5th and 6th.
