Las Vegas, NV – Rodeo Rapid City has once again been recognized as a leader in professional rodeo, earning the title of 2025 PRCA Large Indoor Rodeo of the Year.
The announcement was made Thursday in Las Vegas. This marks the seventh time the event has received this honor from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), solidifying its reputation as a premier event in the world of professional rodeo.
Hosted annually at The Monument in Rapid City, South Dakota, the event is produced by Sutton Rodeo. The PRCA award recognizes rodeos that excel in specific categories, including production, hospitality, community impact and fan experience.

“We are deeply honored to receive this award for the seventh time,” said Amy Muller, Rodeo Rapid City Production Manager. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our event personnel, stock contractors, world class contestants, sponsors, the amazing staff of our event host, The Monument, and the incredible fans who make Rodeo Rapid City such a special event year after year.”
The 2025 edition of the rodeo drew thousands of attendees from across the region, featuring top PRCA competitors and contributing significantly to the local economy while celebrating the Western traditions of South Dakota.
The recognition comes at a pivotal time for the organization. Sutton Rodeo is preparing to celebrate 100 years of rodeo production in 2026, making this latest accolade a fitting start to the company’s upcoming milestone year.
Rodeo Rapid City, presented by Brink Constructors, Inc., is scheduled to return to The Monument in Rapid City, South Dakota, from Jan. 30 through Feb. 7, 2026. Tickets are available at the Bluepeak Ticket Offices at The Monument or online.
