No. 11 Yellow Jackets Win Tenth Straight with 27-Point Road Route of Regis

DENVER, Colo.The No. 11 Black Hills State University men’s basketball team won their tenth straight game of the season and remained unbeaten in RMAC play, defeating Regis 87-60 in their first league game since prior to the winter break.

The Yellow Jackets took control midway through the opening half in the Regis Field House with a 20-4 scoring run, leading to a 48-21 lead at the break following a first half which saw ten 3-pointers hit the bottom of the net.

Cam Lowe spearheaded the 3-point barrage in the opening half, connecting on 6-of-9 from deep for 24 points in the first 20 minutes of action, before closing the contest out with a season-high 27 points with a season-best seven 3-pointers on 12 attempts.

As the Green & Gold held firm control of the game in the second half, they would go on to match a season-high 15 pointers as a team, while also shooting the ball better than 50.0 percent for the 11th time this year. They dished out 20 assists on 34 made baskets, eclipsing 20 assists once again for the seventh time in 2025-26.

The Black Hills State Yellow Jacket women won their third straight game by 50 or more points by beating the Regis Rangers 89-36 in Denver, Colo.

The Yellow Jackets, who won both games in Puerto Rico by 50 or more points, took down the Rangers in all categories, especially the rebounding battle, which was one of the Rangers strong suits.

The Green and Gold outrebounded RU 50-22 and won the offensive rebounding battle 20-2. They also had a season-high 21 steals tonight. The Yellow Jackets had four players in double-digits as well.
