RAPID CITY, S.D. – Pennington County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that their investigation has led to charges being filed in relation to an October 4 shooting in Rapid Valley
Travis Chipps, 18, of Rapid City has been charged with Attempted Murder.
Chipps had already been arrested in October on an unrelated charge and is currently being held in Pennington County jail.
The charges stem from an incident on October 4th when authorities were called to the 4200 block of Apple Tree Road for a male subject knocking on doors asking for help.
The man, suffering from a gunshot wound, was taken to the hospital.
