RAPID CITY, S.D. – For the eighth time, Homeslice Media is giving one Black Hills couple a wedding story they will never forget. This year, Maggie Houston and Caleb Fisher will say “I do” in one of the most unusual venues imaginable: the back of a monster truck during the Road to Destruction Tour.

The tradition began eight years ago when Homeslice Media decided to celebrate love with a little horsepower. Each year, a local couple is chosen to get married in the back of a monster truck in front of a roaring crowd during the Road to Destruction show.

Three years ago, the selection process got a little more creative and a lot more entertaining. Instead of simply choosing a couple, Homeslice started hosting the Nearlywed Game, a redneck twist on the classic Newlywed Game.

Couples hoping to win the monster truck wedding take part in the game, which is held at 707 Nightlife, and answer a series of questions about their future spouse. From funny personal habits to relationship memories, the questions test how well the couples really know each other. Each correct answer earns points, and the couple with the highest score wins the chance to tie the knot in the back of a monster truck.

The Nearlywed Game

This year’s winners, Maggie Houston and Caleb Fisher, have a love story that goes all the way back to childhood.

The two met when they were just 10 years old and have grown up side by side ever since. After 15 years together, they are ready to make it official.

Homeslice Media helps make the big day special by providing the wedding rings, the wedding cake, photography and a place for the couple to celebrate afterward. Maggie and Caleb will also receive travel vouchers from Allegiant Airlines so they can head off on a trip wherever they choose.

Their wedding will take place March 7 at The Monument during the Road to Destruction Tour, where fans will get to watch the couple exchange vows in the back of a monster truck.

After 15 years together, Maggie and Caleb are finally tying the knot in a way that only the Black Hills could dream up.

Cheers to Maggie and Caleb.
