RAPID CITY, S.D. – Two people arrested in connection with the death of a man at an improvised homeless encampment made their initial court appearance Monday.
Artie Black Bear, 41, and Celeste Conquering Bear, 30, are accused of stabbing and killing Randall Lonehill at the encampment located off East North Street in Rapid City.
The two individuals appeared in court virtually, but were kept separate.
Both defendants were given $500,000 cash-only bonds.
