Hill City firefighters save truck during early morning RV blaze

HILL CITY, S.D. – Volunteer firefighters extinguished a recreational vehicle fire early Thursday morning south of Hill City, located in the Black Hills near Rapid City, South Dakota.


The Hill City Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene and reported arriving in under five minutes. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames.


While the RV sustained extensive damage, firefighters successfully saved the owner’s pickup truck. No injuries were reported in the incident.
