KEYSTONE, South Dakota – The Rockerville Volunteer Fire Department reports that the Greyhound Fire is now 100 percent contained. The wildfire, located approximately two miles east of Keystone in Pennington County, held at a final size of 166 acres.
The fire initially prompted evacuations and road closures along Highway 40 and Playhouse Road on Wednesday after high winds fueled rapid growth.
