Rapid City, SD – In an overtime nail-biter Ryan Wagner ( Davis,Bernard) sealed the win against the Idaho Steelheads with a 5-4 decision.
Rapid City’s Bowman (Fyten) started the action at 15:07 with a goal. Chyzowski’s slashing call at 14:26 opened it up for Idaho who scored at 13:34. The Pelton – Byce (Anderson, Boltmann) goal went immediately under review. It was deemed good by officials. Hubbarde’s two minute hooking call at 11:19 was not successful for the steelheads power play
The first period ended 1-1.
The second period started with a 2-minute hooking call on Davis at 19:09. The Rush penalty kill special team stepped it up and handled it.

 The second period ended 4-2 in favor of Rapid City
The Rush penalty kill negated the Steelheads power play once again in the first 10 seconds of the third period.
Idaho goals at 8:19 by Pearson (Malmquist, Pelton-Byce,) and MacDonnell (Hoffman, Shields) at 3:34 tied the game 4-4 . This led to a 7-minute overtime which was won by Rapid City at 4:03.
Arsenii Sergeev with the win faced 48 shots. Idaho’s Tiefensee saw 33 shots against him.
The three stars of the game all went to Rapid City : #1 Ryan Wagner, #2 Brett Davis #3 Xavier Bernard.
Rapid City and Idaho will play each other again on Friday November 28th at the monument. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. MDT.
