Connecting Beef Producers to Consumers on Display at Black Hills Stock Show

PIERRE, S.D. –  Beef Logic Inc. will showcase how it is connecting ranchers, schools, partners, and communities at the Black Hills Stock Show from January 30 to February 7, 2026 at The Monument in Rapid City, S.D. Visitors can find Beef Logic Inc. in the Ice Arena Concourse where they will demonstrate how its programs are making beef a cornerstone of nutrition, education, and opportunity nationwide.

Beef Logic, a 501(c)(3) non-profit works to strengthen families, communities and ensure the positive benefits of beef for the future.

Through collaborations with ranchers, schools, youth programs, partners and communities, Beef Logic Inc. works to expand access to high‑quality beef while supporting healthy families, rural economies and promoting agricultural literacy.

Beef Logic Inc. leads several programs and initiatives and will be highlighting a couple of them at the Black Hills Stock Show including:

Build Your Base, helps athletes learn how Beef is a high-quality protein that will help them as they prepare for competitions and build healthy habits that fuel performance on and off the field. In addition to high school and college student athletes, the program also works with professional and Olympic athletes. 

Beef in the Classroom Experience, an effort that provides students in middle and high school classrooms practical knowledge about beef, including nutrition, cuts, preparation and a culinary experience.

Making a State and National Impact

Beef Logic Inc. believes impact isn’t about being the loudest voice – it’s about being a trusted partner that evaluates programs, uses data to guide decisions and turns shared purpose into meaningful results.

A report by Build Your Base, a program led by Beef Logic, delivered significant national impact during the 2024–2025 calendar year, reaching more than 11 million athletes and families across the United States. In South Dakota, the program partnered with 43 school districts and seven universities, serving over 41,000 beef‑based meals and incorporating more than 11,000 pounds of high‑quality beef protein into its food‑first performance model.

Over the past five years, Build Your Base has provided more than 265,000 meals to youth statewide, underscoring Beef Logic’s commitment to data‑driven programming and trusted community partnerships that turn shared purpose into measurable results.
