White Sox add right-hander Seranthony DomĂnguez to their bullpen, AP source says

The Chicago White Sox have added Seranthony DomĂnguez to their bullpen, agreeing to a $20 million, two-year contract with the right-hander. A person familiar with the deal confirmed the agreement to The Associated Press. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the move was pending a physical. Alex Bregman looking to win a World Series with the Chicago Cubs

Alex Bregman was clear and concise. His biggest priorities are his family and winning baseball games. Bregman’s family watched from the front row as he detailed his reasons for signing with the Chicago Cubs in free agency. He displayed his other priority on the back of his new pinstriped jersey. He says he decided to wear No. 3 because he wants a third championship. He won two World Series titles with the Astros early in his career. That obsession with winning — and all the ways it affects the players around him — was a major reason why the Cubs went out of their comfort zone to reel in the All-Star third baseman with a $175 million, five-year contract.

All-Star third baseman Alex Bregman has agreed to a $175 million, five-year contract with the Chicago Cubs, according to two people familiar with the deal. The people spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the agreement was pending a physical. ESPN was the first to report on the move. Bregman, who turns 32 in March, was back on the market for a second straight offseason. He was pursued by the Cubs before he signed a $120 million, three-year contract with Boston last February, with opt-outs after each of the first two seasons. He decided to test free agency again after hitting .273 with 18 homers and 62 RBIs in 114 games for the Red Sox.
