RAPID CITY, S.D. – At the Black Hills Stock Show Monday, the popular Angus breed filled the auction stands as over $393,000 was brought in.
Angus Heifers brought in $109,650 with 14 heifers selling for an average of $7,832.
The Angus bulls sold for a total of $283,500 with 29 selling for an average of $9,775.
The top selling Angus heifer sold for $25,000, consigned by Chestnut Angus. Top selling Angus bull sold for $17,000 and was consigned by the Cundy Ranch. Ten bulls sold for $10,000 or above.
