WALL, S.D. – The South Dakota Highway Patrol and Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says a couple of significant crashes closed a portion of I-90 Tuesday morning.
The closure was between Exit 110 at Wall and Exit 131 at Cactus Flats.
SD511 still lists the closure as active at this hour.
The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says the crashes were in the area of mile marker 125.
The accident happened in Jackson County, where photos from the agency on social media appear to show a law enforcement vehicle involved.
Details of the crashes had not been released yet as authorities continued their investigation.
